Arrow Making

In this workshop you will be learning which local plants can be used as hardwood arrows and how to make your own. There will be brief demonstrations on proper harvesting, stave processing and crafting the arrow. Everyone will have the opportunity to create their own arrow alongside each demonstration. You will be guided through every step; bark removal, stave straightening, fletching with turkey feathers complete with a hand carved nock at the end. You will go home with your own handmade arrow and the knowledge to fill your quiver.
