This special medicinal plant workshop is focused on the many uses of California Sagebrush. Using a potted plant as a display you'll learn how to identify sagebrush via sight, texture and especially scent. We will discuss it's natural habitat, foraging methods, medicinal teas, salves, poultices and washes that can be made from this special sage.
Materials provided for use during workshop: Dried California sagebrush, mortar and pestles, disposable tea bags, notebooks and pencils. You're welcome to take your tea bags and notebooks home to experiment and further your native plant knowledge!
